I have a profession

I am now officially a paper conservator. It feels fantastic to be ready with the school. It's also a bit sad: I know I won't be meeting my school mates that much from now on. Thankgod there is the internet.

Congratulations! I STILL don't know what I want to be when I grow up!
This may sound totally foolish and uneducated, but what exactly does a paper conservator do?

Thank you Pixy! Don't worry about not knowing what to be - it took me a while (I'm 40) to figure it out too.

I could make a long list of things paper conservators do, but instead I put it this way: they take care of (valuable) paper objects like old maps, books, art on paper, wall papers etc.

By the way, if you don't know what to do, study conservation: it's fantastic and Canada has excellent schools to study that subject.

That's absolutely fantastic! books and maps - two of my favourite things! The first can take you on adventures in the world; the latter can take you on adventures of the mind!

You are a real person with a super hero job!
